It’s Demo Day on Miller Avenue this week as a dedicated group of volunteers continue work on the 2017 Habitat for Humanity home.

Our second ever rehab in central Tillamook has created excitement in the community for what could be next!

“We are looking forward to more opportunities to turn tired-already existing homes into updated, safe and affordable housing for families in our community,” says Tillamook Habitat Executive Director Cami Aufdermauer.

The Miller House will be completely gutted, rewired, repaired, and rebuilt using the same standards as our new builds. Using donated materials from both local businesses and the ReStore assists in keeping the total cost of the project down in order to allow more building.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in getting a small group together to rip down drywall, swing a hammer, clean up the yard, and or pick up a paint brush!

Sign up to volunteer through our newly designed website at tillamookhabitat.org!

Many hands make the load light!
