VOLUNTEERS are the HEART of Habitat
Please join us in building affordable housing in Tillamook and nourish your spirit of generosity and community by bringing stability and security to children, families and individuals. Become a Habitat volunteer! Share experience and working with sharing experience and knowledge with each other, learn new things. Volunteering with Habitat is a terrific way to get to know people, meet friends old and new, have fun, build team spirit with co-workers, neighbor’s families and church groups.
Youth groups are an active part of our volunteer teams and we invite all youth groups to contact our office to make arrangements to join up with Habitat in Tillamook.
The Junior High School students are active in the interior painting of our homes as part of their class curriculum.
Tillamook High Schools students are active in Habitat with their community senior projects.
Wells Fargo, US Bank, Sterling Savings, Tillamook PUD, teachers, Church adult and youth groups to name a few are involved as volunteers with Habitat; pictures of groups are featured on our web site. Everyone is welcome just call the office to set up a time and date for your group.
Retirees and RV groups are whole heartedly welcomed, no experience is necessary just bring yourself and your sense of humor there is a place for you at Tillamook Habitat.
We build homes throughout the year Monday through Saturday in Tillamook County; location of projects is dependent on land available to Habitat for affordable housing.
